  12. As a possible option you might try selecting: Settings/Control
  13. Panel/Modems/Properties/Connection/Advanced.  In the "Extra Settings"
  14. area you can enter a modem command string that will be sent to your
  15. modem after all the Windows 95 built-in settings have been sent.
  16. Start with &F (or equivalent) to reset to your modem manufacturers
  17. defaults.  After the &F you can enter whatever custom commands you
  18. want.  I find this to be an easy way to expiriment with different init
  19. settings under Windows 95.
